Based in Dongguan, China, ChaoYue Sports develops and manufactures functional gear for cooling, heating, support, protection and active use — serving both direct consumers and business partners worldwide.
Built From Problems We Could See
Inside garment workshops, long hours at machines made support and comfort a daily concern. Outside, we saw delivery workers using back supports during long routes, and older family members looking for more warmth and support through colder seasons.
Those observations shaped the way we think about products. A useful piece of functional gear should start with a real situation, then solve as much of that problem as possible without becoming unnecessarily complicated, uncomfortable or difficult to use.
That idea still guides ChaoYue today. The products have expanded, but the starting point remains the same: understand what the user is dealing with, then build around it.

How Listening Becomes Product Development
One product rarely fits every environment. Our cooling gear is one example of how customer requests, user feedback and practical use conditions push us to keep adapting what we make.

1. From Airflow to Liquid Circulation
Early cooling products used fan-driven airflow for work environments. As requests expanded into situations where users wanted more direct cooling contact, we worked with a technical partner to develop a self-contained liquid-circulation vest with a pump, internal tubing and an ice-water reservoir.
2. A Different Need Led to Peltier Cooling
Feedback also showed that some users wanted a lighter active-cooling option without preparing ice and water. That led us to explore Peltier semiconductor modules and adjustable control, creating another cooling approach for people whose routines and preferences differ from liquid circulation.

3. Feedback Becomes the Next Development Question
One customer working outdoors at 103°F (39.5°C) told us that the four-panel semiconductor version was useful, but he wanted stronger cooling and broader coverage, including the lower body. We treat feedback like this as a development question: how can coverage improve without making the system impractical to wear, power or manufacture?
Small Changes Can Matter in Real Use
Not every improvement is obvious in a product photo. Some come from noticing how and where the product is actually used.
Visibility in Low-Light Conditions
We initially kept reflective details minimal because the cleaner appearance looked better to us. Real use made us rethink that choice. Two reflective strips were added to the liquid-cooling vest, and the Peltier vest later expanded to five — across both shoulders, both front panels and the back — to improve wearer visibility in low-light conditions.
Every Water Pump Tested Before Assembly
We once relied on sample testing because it was faster. But a pump failure creates an avoidable interruption for the user and an avoidable after-sales problem for everyone involved. Today, water pumps used in liquid-cooling production are tested one by one before assembly. It is a product-specific quality-control step focused on a component that directly affects whether the system works as intended.

Functional gear can solve very different problems, but our starting questions stay similar: what function is needed, how should the product interact with the body, and which materials or components make that function practical to use?

Active Temperature Control
In cooling and heating gear, the system itself matters: contact area, component placement, power requirements and control all affect how practical the product feels in real use.

Support, Cushioning & Structure
Support products depend on more than adding thicker material. Foam density, panel shape, strap direction and where pressure is distributed all influence fit, stability and comfort.

Comfort & Breathability
A product only works well if people can keep wearing it. Breathable mesh, lining choices and moisture management are practical considerations in products designed for longer periods of activity or work.
From Materials to Finished Products
Our Dongguan production workflow covers material preparation, cutting, sewing, assembly, inspection and packaging. The exact process changes with the product: a support brace, a neoprene item and an active cooling vest do not require the same construction or quality-control steps. We organize production around those differences rather than treating every product the same.

Material preparation and packaging are part of making an order practical, not an afterthought. We prepare and inspect materials according to the product, organize standard or project-specific packaging, and support international shipping by air, sea or door-to-door service depending on order size and destination.
